Refsnesstranda is a hiking destination along the Norwegian Scenic Route Jæren. Here you'll find a small and beautiful sandy beach in the south that turns into a pebble beach in the north and an unusual restroom facility.

Borestranden is one of the nicest beaches in Norway and is three kilometres long. The beach is located along the FV507, the Norwegian Scenic Route Jæren, and is a nice stop off the scenic road.

The gardens of Edlandshagen are next to a large lake and have several mature trees. The area is wheelchair accessible and there is parking nearby.

Jenafjell is a lesser-known but exciting summit hike starting from Lysebotn. The trail offers a variety of landscapes and breathtaking views.

The Veveriet was built to house weaving looms, that were driven by power from the river next to it. It is an important building in the town's textile heritage. Today the building is a cultural centre, housing the town's library, and culture facilities. It is also the local tourist information point.

The Figgjo river is temporarily closed for fishing (1/7/24) and opens partially from 11/7/24. The river is a popular sport fishing river and is one of Norway's biggest salmon rivers.
