The third season of People of the North premieres on PBS in the USA in October 2025, and it features the Stavanger region!
Join hosts Arne Hjeltnes, Frida Ronge, and Stig Bareksten as they explore the very best of Norway’s southwest, sharing their favorite experiences from the Edge of Norway.

- Restauration – historic experiences. In 2025, it was 200 years since Norway’s first emigration to the US with the ship Restauration. A replica of the ship with crew repeats the voyage, and it arrived in New York on 9 October 2025. Read about the crossing here.

- To look their best for an evening at the culinary event, Bistrovaganza by Renaa, an annual food happening during Norway's largest food festival, Gladmat, they also make time for a stop at a local barber shop, Brødrene Fevang, a popular place for trimming that all-important hipster beard.
