Hyllestad

Hyllestad is situated on the north side of the Sognefjord and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Hyllestad is known for its production of millstones, an industry that lasted for almost 1,000 years. Now you can travel back in time and experience Kvernsteinsparken – an outdoor museum in the biggest quarries during the Viking Age and Middle Ages in Scandinavia.
